We would like to remind all cat breeders and exhibitors that the GCCF is not the only feline governing body in the UK.

Many of you are aware that there are 2 major feline organisations currently supporting UK cat breeders. Both of which have a totally different, and much more exciting format for cat shows.

We would ask that any member who is opposed this decision for Fancy That to publish show write ups, that you please consider registering your prefix, your cats, and kittens with either FB or TICA and we would also ask that you consider supporting the FB and TICA shows.

 

Felis Britanicia (FB)


FB is the new federation of cat clubs representing FIFE in the UK. Felis Britannica was formed in 2003 and offers the full range of FIFe services. As such, there are many FB clubs within the UK and each of these clubs represents their individual members.
Day to day decisions are delegated to an Executive Committee, who is accountable to the federation of the clubs at the Annual General Assembly.

The International Cat Association (TICA)


TICA is the world's largest genetic registry of purebred and household pet cats and one of the world's largest sanctioning bodies for cat shows. ALL Our members are entitled to vote on ALL issues which shape the association. There are currently more than 3000 TICA members throughout the world. Because of the multi-ring format of TICA cat shows, it is possible to get your cat made up to Champion (or perhaps even Grand Champion) in a single show.
